Have more than one medical student at each practice (especially if it’s somewhere not in Aberdeen) so it doesn’t feel lonely and for moral support
Would you like to tell us more about the concern related to discrimination, bullying and harassment?

i) Dr Jude Watmough - GP Educational Supervisor ii) Culloden Medical Practice iii) Dr Watmough created an exceptionally welcoming, supportive and positive learning environment throughout my placement. From the very beginning he made me feel included, valued and encouraged. He consistently took the time to teach, explain clinical reasoning and provide constructive feedback, whilst tailoring learning opportunities to help me develop my confidence. He was approachable, patient and genuinely invested in my learning making every day genuinely enjoyable as well as educational. Thanks to his guidance, I grew significantly in my confidence and gained so much from the placement, both clinically and personally. He has reinforced my enthusiasm for general practice and I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him.
