This course is part of the pre-sessional programme that helps international students meet their language conditions prior to going on to their UG/PG programmes. Level 3 takes students from IELTS 5-5.5 [B1 High] – B2 low

Course Description

This course is the third part of the PSE programme that helps international students meet the university’s English language conditions.

Details, including assessments, may be subject to change until 21st September 2026 for Term 1 and Full Year courses and 8th January 2027 for Term 2 courses.

Feedback	2x Paired tutorials: students are given discussion tasks to complete together on a topic that they have been working on in class. 1 x assessed seminar: Students are put into small groups. Prior to the seminar, each student within the group is given individual information which they must assess in relation to the seminar task. During the seminar students present the information that they have researched and this information is used to complete the seminar task.
