Duration: 12 months full-time, 24 months part-time. Content: Candidates shall be required to attend the following designated programme of courses: DR 5062 Method in Theology (10 credit points) DR 5063 Dissertation Colloquium (10 credit points) DR 5068/DR 5568 In the Beginning and Christian Ethics: Genesis in the 21st Century (20 credit points) DR 5069/DR 5569 The Bible in Ministry (20 credit points) DR 5070/DR 5570 Pastoral Care and Counselling (20 credit points) DR 5517 Dissertation 2 (50 credit points) Plus an elective to be chosen and agreed with the Programme co-ordinator. With the permission of the Programme Co-ordinator, students may be allowed to substitute one of the taught courses (not the dissertation) with any other level 5 course offered within the School of Divinity, History and Philosophy. Assessment: The taught courses will be assessed by course work, by written examination, or by a combination of these, as prescribed for each course. The dissertation course will be assessed by submission of the dissertation. An oral examination may be held at the discretion of the Examiners.
