Aim: To equip students for careers developing and expanding current knowledge of drug development. To achieve this the programme will provide a multi-disciplinary approach to the study of drug discovery and development; mechanisms of drug action; preclinical and clinical trials; and regulatory affairs. Content: The programme of taught courses will comprise lectures, tutorials, practical classes and demonstrations in clinical departments.
