Duration: 12 months full-time (MSc); 9 months full-time (PgDip). Content: The courses are drawn from across the School of Biological Sciences and are taught in a series of three or six week modules, together with instructions in related common skills. A number of courses that are core to other programmes can be selected for this programme. Following the instructional stage of the programme of courses, students may proceed to the individual research project if they have successfully passed all course assessments (60 credits). This will culminate in the submission of a thesis in the format of a peer reviewed paper.
