Number of credit points: 180 Aims: The Taught MLitt Degree in Islamic Studies is designed for those who wish to expand and deepen their knowledge of Muslim religion, and/ or as preparation for advanced research degrees. Students can choose one of two strands of studies: (1) Islam in Dialogue This strand focuses on the comparative aspect of Islam and its dialogue with the other monotheisms. (2) Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies This strand enables students to broaden their knowledge of Islam as a literary and living tradition.
