HDR UK Event
Generation Scotland is a biomedical research cohort with over 40,000 participants, and is one of the largest family-based health research cohorts globally. The cohort has particular strengths in epigenetics, data linkage, data sharing practices, and maintains a highly collaborative and adaptive approach to research. This talk will provide an update on recent recruitment enhancements, with a particular focus on non-invasive, remote biosampling and novel approaches to engagement. The build-out of trusted research environment infrastructure that is appropriate to consented research cohort data will also be covered.
This presentation will be delivered by Dr Mark Adams, Senior Bioinformatician for Generation Scotland, and chaired by Katie Wilde, HDR UK Scotland Co-Director.
