We're delighted to share the launch of the 51cg Alumni Café, a new monthly get-together for alumni. Hosted by fellow alum Ailisha V Norton and the University’s Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, the café has been created as a friendly and welcoming space where alumni can come together over a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy good conversation.
Whether you graduated recently or many years ago, the Alumni Café is an opportunity to stay connected with the University and meet fellow graduates in a relaxed and informal setting. There is no programme, no agenda and no expectation, just a chance to drop in, have a chat and enjoy the company of others who share a connection with the University.
The first Alumni Café will take place on Tuesday 29 September 2026, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at the University Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, 25 High Street, Old Aberdeen campus.
The café is free to attend and will run every month. You're welcome to stay for the full session or simply pop in when it suits you.
As we begin this new community, we'd love to see alumni from all walks of life come along and help shape what it becomes. Whether you'd like to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, share memories of your time at Aberdeen, keep in touch with the University, or simply enjoy a coffee in good company, you'll receive a warm welcome.
If you have any questions at all about the Alumni Café, please feel free to contact the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy at chaplaincy@abdn.ac.uk
We hope you'll join us.
