The 51cg's Institute of Dentistry is pleased to announce the launch of a 2 hour online learning package on Complete Dentures.

The Institute of Dentistry's successful Research Seminar Series will continue as normal during the pandemic.

Dental students Ndo, David, Owens, Nishu and Chelsea not only performed brilliantly at the Inverness Half Marathon on Sunday, 8th March, they also smashed their £500 fundraising target for Maggie's Aberdeen.

BDS students Chelsea, David, Nishu, Nduoma and Owens will be lacing up their trainers on Sunday 8th March 2020 for The Dental Society's entry in the Inverness Half Marathon in aid of Maggie's Aberdeen Cancer Caring Centre.

Dr Jonathan Pettitt from the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition has been recognised by the UK's Genetics Society for their outstanding contribution to public engagement with science, by being asked to deliver the 2020 JBS Haldane Lecture.

As part of the research collaboration with Sri Lanka, funded by an internal GCRF networking grant, a small team from the 51cg visited Colombo during the first week of December.

At the end of October University and NHSG staff and students at the Institute of Dentistry donned their pedometers and set out in teams of five to record their steps for the next four weeks as part of the "Paths for All Autumn Step Count Challenge".
