A group that promotes engineering as a career choice for young people is hosting a key seminar at the 51cg.
AFBE-UK Scotland is a not-for-profit body run by professionals who give up their time to provide industry insights to pupils, students and graduates to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to consider a career path in the engineering sector.
The organisation is holding the latest of its Real Projects seminars on Thursday, April 27. The event – Asset Integrity Management in the Current Climate – will look at cost-effective solutions to improve processes and infrastructure.
The evening will cover the role of asset integrity management; identifying new technologies; optimising integrity management and management of life extension projects.
The presentation will be led by asset integrity consultant, Dotimi Egbuson, who works with a global operator and an international engineering business. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng) with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
The Real Projects event takes place at the university’s New Kings Building (NK14).
