The University is keen to promote enterprise and entrepreneurship amongst the student body – hence the welcome forthcoming visit by Mick Jackson, founder of the Wildhearts charity and sponsor of the micro-tyco enterprise challenge. This is a huge coup for the University! There are hundreds of teams who enter across the UK and we have secured the founder to speak.
The Careers Service is delighted to support opportunities for students to develop enterprise and entrepreneurship . This competition gives students from any discipline an opportunity to be creative in turning a very small sum into a very large one in short space of time. We would be delighted to see as many students as possible taking part in this social enterprise.
