Join us as we discuss the local climate here in the North-east and how it compares with other regions of Scotland, the rest of the British Isles and also other parts of the world.
It might come as a surprise to learn that some other towns and cities in the world experience even more haar than Aberdeen!
We will also take a look at weather at sea and how this impacts on the daily lives of those who work in the offshore world. The speaker has worked continuously in the weather industry since leaving university in 1984 and is a Chartered Meteorologist accredited by the Royal Meteorological Society.
