Join us for a series of short presentations in the PechaKucha format for One World Week in Aberdeen.

A number of speakers will use images to portray their thoughts about our world. Each presenter shows 20 images for 20 seconds each creating short presentations of 6 minutes and 40 seconds in length. The nights bring together art, design, research and fresh ideas.

PechaKucha means ‘chitchat’ in Japanese and the format was created by two architects who were fed up with lengthy presentations and the nights now run in over 650 cities around the world.

PechaKucha in Aberdeen is organised by the Public Engagement with Research Unit at the 51cg. If you are interested in talking at a PechaKucha night please get in touch with us.

The nights are free and there is no need to book. For the full programme of PechaKucha Nights in Aberdeen see the web links below.
