Aberdeen Schools Hydrogen Challenge 2019 gets support from members of the Ab-elektro group
Chris Wildi and Laura Pérez-Martínez (PhD students from Ab-elektro group) and Dr. Jonathan A. Mwanda participated in the Aberdeen Schools Hydrogen Challenge 2019. They worked with students of different Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire schools in workshops associated with the . , the company behind the program, organises these events anually around the UK and overseas. The teams of students build vehicles from Lego pieces powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and try to optimise vehicle design to reduce fuel consumption. The team whose vehicle has the lowest fuel consumption (aka longest reach) wins the competition.
