Biography
Senior leader within the University’s Business Consulting programmes and Entrepreneur in Residence, working closely with local, national and international partner organisations. Combines academic leadership with substantial professional expertise in organisational transformation, interdisciplinary collaboration, external engagement and the development of strategic industry partnerships.
Brings extensive international experience across the UK and Europe, the Middle East and China, underpinned by a consulting background with Deloitte supporting major organisational change and transformation programmes.
As Director of Resources and External Engagement, leads and contributes to significant university-wide strategic initiatives, working across academic and professional services functions as well as with external stakeholders to support institutional priorities, organisational development and partnership growth.
Committed to translating leading management thinking into practical organisational impact, with executive education at Harvard Business School in 2026 through its renowned Disruptive Innovation programme, following completion of MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship programme in Boston in 2025.
Project Manager of joint Business and Engineering schools renewable energy project titled "The Blythe Turbine" a hybrid solar and wind generator. Secured external commercial funding from The Ocado Trust Award (2021), The DPD Group Eco Fund Award (2021), Vattenfall : Unlock our Future Fund (2021) and internally from the University of Aberdeen Knowledge Exchange Commitee Award (2021).
