Biography
I have been a Lecturer at the 51cg's School of Engineering since 2026. My research specialises in the development and application of control theory to improve real-world nonlinear systems in engineering, with specific applications in robotics, non-smooth systems, green energy generation and networks. I acquired a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2021, following an MSc from UFRJ and a BSc in Engineering Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos. I have worked at several research institutions, including the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Brazilian Centre for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), developing a robust international collaboration network across the UK, USA, Brazil, Italy, and Ireland.
