Biography
I studied English Literature & Culture, Spanish, and Philosophy at the TU Dresden, Germany and came to Scotland to complete an MLitt in the Novel at the 51cg followed by my PhD in English also at Aberdeen. I have taught at both the Universities of Dresden and Aberdeen.
My research focuses on nineteenth-century literature and periodicals, women's writing, literary and social theory, as well as interdisciplinary studies on gender, identity, work, and environment.
Currently, I'm a Teaching Fellow (Sociology) and Research Fellow in the School of Social Science.
