Biography
Dr. Megan Kruskie joined the 51cg in 2026 as lecturer a in Anatomy and the Centre for Healthcare Education Research and Innovation (CHERI) She is a classically trained anatomist and medical education researcher. She received her M.S. in Clinical Anatomy (2021) and her Ph.D. in Anatomy, Cell Biology, & Physiology (Education Track) (2025) from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her work focuses on exploring professional identity and imposter phenomenon in medical students. She has taught gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy for medical, allied health, and graduate students.

Research Overview
Megan is interested in exploring medical student professional identity formation, experiences with imposterism, and perceptions of the ideal physician and where those images arise. She is also interested in innovations in anatomy and medical education as well as ethics surrounding body donation for educational purposes. She uses a variety of methods in her work, including focus groups, interviews, and questionnaires.
