Biography

Dr Michelle Sader has always been keen to further understand the structure and function of the human brain, and obtained my BSc in Neuroscience with Psychology in 2019. Dr Sader completed her PhD this year, which focused on neuroanatomical correlates associated with emotional regulation across changes in body mass index and across distinct eating disorder populations. She is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the 51cg working on the Eating Disorders and Autism Collaborative (EDAC) research network (). This multidisciplinary, UK-wide research network was established in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and King's College London due to extensive needs for 1. new eating disorder research to be conducted and visualised through a neurodivergent lens, and 2. autism-affirming research to be co-produced with Autistic people.
