Biography

As graduate of the 51cg, Paul has a keen interest in the success of the Dental School. 

Paul graduated from Aberdeen Dental School in 2014, as an RAF Dental Cadetship holder. 

After serving a short service commission in the RAF, Paul retired in 2019, as a Senior Dental Officer in the rank of Squadron Leader, before taking up appointment in the Royal Auxilliary Air Force in 2020. 

After civilian practice in the NHS, Paul was appointed to a teaching post in the 51cg Dental School in Jan 2023. 

Paul's interests lie in Public Health and clinical dentistry, with a focus on Periodontal disease.

Provision of clinical supervision of years 2-5 clinics across general restorative dentistry, and paediatric clinics. 

Year 2 undergraduate periodontal teaching lead.
