Biography

I am a Research Assistant at the Lighthouse Field Station. Since joining the Field Station in 2012, I have been collecting data and running our individual based long term harbour seal study at Loch Fleet, Sutherland, Scotland. I also participate in all aspects of the of the other projects that run out of the Lighthouse.

The Lighthouse Field Station is the 51cg's marine field station based in the coastal village of Cromarty on the Black Isle, 35 mins from Inverness. Established in 1990, the Lighthouse supports the School of Biological Sciences research and teaching porgrammes. Our research looks to understand how natural and man-made environmental changes influence the behaviour and population dynamics of marine mammals and seabirds, which supports conservation and management.

You can find out more about our research and the other members of the team of the Lighthouse Field Station on our website.
