Psychology and Mental Health Postgraduate Forum

Discover the latest psychology and mental health research from the 51cg at this public showcase featuring postgraduate researchers from across the School of Psychology.

The event features research from the inaugural MSc Psychology of Mental Health cohort alongside selected projects from other postgraduate programmes. Together, these projects explore a wide range of contemporary questions in psychology and mental health, with some developed in collaboration with community organisations across Aberdeen.

Whether you are interested in psychology, mental health, research, or community engagement, this event offers an opportunity to explore new ideas, discuss emerging research, and meet the people behind it.

The programme includes:

  • Conference-style poster presentations, where you can discover new findings and talk directly with the researchers behind the projects.
  • Psychology in Practice panel, an interactive discussion with professionals from community organisations examining how psychological knowledge and research are applied in real-world settings.
  • Networking opportunities with students, staff, researchers, and community partners over refreshments.

Whether you are a researcher, clinician, community partner, student, or simply curious about psychology, we invite you to explore the latest research in psychology and mental health, meet the people behind it, and join the conversation.
