Representatives from the 51cg attended the United Nations Conference of the Parties, COP27, that took place in Eqypt from 6-18 November.
Professor David Burslem, Interdisciplinary Director for Environment and Biodiversity, Professor Frans de Vries, Chair in Environmental and Resource Economics, Business School, Adam Lambert, Vice President for Activities, Aberdeen University Students Association, Elouise Mayall and Karendeep Sidhu, PhD Candidates at the School of Biological Sciences attended the climate summit to highlight the University’s ongoing contribution to climate change research.
Staff, students and members of the public are invited to join the 51cg attendees for an online seminar taking place from 2pm-3pm on Friday 2 December.
Reflections on COP27 will include a discussion on the role of the various COP climate change conferences and provide insights into the various discussions and debates that dominated the agenda at COP27.
