- Advanced Shock Tool, iVDynamics, 2020-2022. Project team: Professor Marian Wiercigroch , Dr Vahid Vaziri , Dr Marcin Kapitaniak and Mr Idin Nazzari. The objective of this collaborative project is to investigate the effects of induced lateral vibration on a differentially stuck pipe to release the pipe. This project includes Finite element modelling, lumped mass mathematical modelling, and small-scale and large-scale experimental studies.
