Professor Gerard Parr is the UK lead of the India-UK Advanced Technology Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks Systems and Services. This centre is jointly funded by EPSRC and the India DST and comprises 8 UK universities, 5 leading IITs, major industrial partners in UK and India (including companies such as BT, InfoSys, Wipro, Sasken, and Tejas), and a number of SMEs.

The seminar will cover the background and role of the centre, and, for example, how the centre can support bids for funding that have the India-UK element in these research areas. Given the focus of the centre, this is most relevant to staff in Computing Science and Engineering.
