James Porte's publication of the setting of psalms by Jean Servis now available.
James Porter, who is an Honorary Research Fellow in Music, has spent a decade working on settings of the psalms by Jean Servis which were published in 1579. His scholarly edition has just been published by Brepols. A large volume of nearly 900 pages, it contains an introduction in both English and French with translations of the Latin texts as well as copious annotations. It is available at .
