Biography

I joined the unit as a Statistician in 2019. My current role involves working on randomised control trials and evidence synthesis projects. I graduated from University of Glasgow with a MSc in Medical Genetics before going on to complete my PhD in Medical Genetics in 2010.

Prior to joining HSRU, I worked as statistician with Dundee Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit for 9 years. I was awarded an international award for publishing excellence in JCEM by the Endocrine Society in 2012 and recently one of my paper 'Increased mortality and morbidity in patients with chronic hypoparathyroidism: A population-based study’, was selected as the best paper published in Clinical Endocrinology in 2019.
