DaSH is overseen by a joint 51cg and NHS Grampian Steering Committee, to ensure DaSH complies with all necessary regulations, standards, and other requirements to support sensitive data research. The Committee meets a minimum of three times per year, providing strategic oversight of the management and operation of DaSH. Membership of the Committee includes management representatives from the University and NHS Grampian for cross-organisational working.
The Steering Committee Chair is responsible for ensuring oversight, ongoing compliance, continual improvement and development of the DaSH Information Security Management. The DaSH Steering Committee reports to both the Clinical Research Steering Group, and the Information Governance Committee (IGC) that also provides oversight to the Information Risk Working Group (IRWG). These higher-level committees are attended by the DaSH Director.
