The Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education is considered similar to A-levels. Please see A-level requirements listed under specific programmes in the online prospectus.

Postgraduate entry requirements
Postgraduate academic entry requirements
A 3-4 year bachelor degree from a recognised institution with the following equivalencies are considered for entry into our postgraduate taught programmes.
| 1st | 70% | A | GPA 4.4 - 5.0 |
| 2:1 | 60-69% | B+ | GPA 4.0 - 4.3 |
| 2:2 | 50-59% | B | GPA 3.0 - 3.9 |
For Business School PGT programmes the minimum entry requirement is an undergraduate degree at UK Honours level (or a degree from a non-UK institution which is judged by the University to be of equivalent worth).
