The University Collections hold events all year round. Our programme includes exhibitions, talks, workshops, collections close-ups, arts and crafts, open days, tours and much more!

The current exhibition from University Collections is Aberdeen Artworlds, marking 50 years of the Linklater Collection of works by some of the most important Scottish artists of the 20th century.

The 51cg has many public artworks in Old Aberdeen. Pick up a leaflet from the Library, Zoology Museum and other venues on campus and enjoy a walk taking in the art. The accompanying website provides details of each artwork.

A new display on the Ground Floor of the Sir Duncan Rice Library explores the artist colony at Greengate Close, Kirkcudbright through Dorothy Johnstone's painting of the famous close.

Visit the Sir Duncan Rice Library to see a remarkable new tapestry designed by Zimbabwean Scottish artist Sekai Machache for the 51cg.
