Annual conference of the British Forum of Ethnomusicology, held from 11-14 April 2019 and hosted by The Elphinstone Institute, 51cg. The theme of this year's conference is 'Collaborative Ethnomusicology'

The conference will be taking place in the MacRobert Building from 11-14 April 2019. The theme of the conference is 'Collaborative Ethnomusicology' and the conference includes wine reception, hosted by Taylor & Francis, Ice Cream Social, hosted by the Society for Ethnomusicology. The keynote speaker will be Professor Mellonee Burnim speaking on 'Hidden Musical Transcripts in National Rituals of Mourning and Marriage: A British Royal Wedding, An (African) American Funeral.'
