Biography

Mervyn Bain was appointed as a Teaching Fellow in June 2004 and in June 2005 he was appointed as a Lecturer. In 2011 he was promoted to Senior Lecturer before in 2019 being promoted to a Personal Chair in International Relations. He obtained his undergraduate, Masters and PhD degrees all from the University of Glasgow. From February 2017 to December 2022 he was Head of School of Social Science.
