A trip by Chinese teachers to schools in Aberdeen has been hailed a success by organisers and participants.

Dr Joan Forbes, Reader in Education at the 51cg, and Professor Bob Lingard, University of Queensland, Australia, have a chapter in a new edited book on international perspectives on elite and private education.

Dr Joan Forbes, Reader in Education at the 51cg, with Professor Gaby Weiner, University of Sussex, will give a paper at an international invitation symposium on elite education to be held at the Institute of Education, University of London on 7-8 November 2013.

A BBC Two television series featuring a 51cg Professor in Composition will air from tonight.
