PGT Refresher: Reviewing literature and critical reading
-
This is a past event
Sometimes a dissertation is a literature review in itself. But even if not, dissertations tend to require a process of reviewing existing literature in order to establish what the dissertation adds that is new. This session looks at the processes of reviewing literature and points out some of the questions to be asking yourself when reading the literature critically. It also looks at the stages of reviewing and approaches to structure.
This session is for Postgraduate Taught students.
