There will be prescribed courses you study each year to make up your degree. Depending on your programme of study, your prescribed courses will be hosted in different Schools and/or Departments. However, most Engineering courses are based within the School of Engineering.
Each course will have a different course code prefix, for example:

Please note that, whilst we expect the majority of reading lists to remain unchanged this year, the reading lists for courses during academic year 2025-26 may differ from those linked below.
Updated reading lists for 2025-26 will be available on MyAberdeen and through the Library prior to the commencement of teaching on 22 September 2025.
